Made with actual cookie dough, this fudge takes the classic cookie to the next level.
For the cookie dough
⅓ cup butter, softened
¼ cup sugar
¼ cup brown sugar
½ cup flour
½ tsp vanilla
⅛ tsp salt
2 tbsp milk
For the fudge
⅓ cup brown sugar
⅓ cup butter
1 pinch salt
⅓ cup milk
4 ½ cups powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
½ cup chocolate chips
Line a square baking pan with parchment paper and cooking spray and set it aside.
For the cookie dough, cream the butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Mix in the vanilla, salt, and milk, then the flour until just combined. Don't over-mix. Set it aside.
For the fudge, stir the brown sugar, butter, salt, and milk in a medium saucepan over medium-low heat until the butter melts and the sugar fully dissolves.
Take the pan off the heat and stir in the powdered sugar 1 cup at a time until smooth and creamy. Stir in the vanilla.
Fold the cookie dough into the fudge and keep stirring until it reaches room temperature. Press it into the pan, top with the chocolate chips, and let it set before cutting.
